Our selection process and next steps
Our selection process
During the selection process, you will have plenty of opportunity to discuss and learn more about the role, ask any questions you might have, and get a feel for our culture. You’ll also be asked specific competency-based questions designed to test your technical skills and general behaviours. These questions reflect Santen’s competency framework and are matched to the role type and level.
Additional selection processes for certain roles
You may be required to complete an online assessment that will help us know more about you and how you may fit with your future team. Depending on the role you’re applying for, you may be also asked to prepare a presentation in advance to share with the panel. Alternatively, you may be asked to respond to a business case challenge that you’ll be given on the day.
Joining Santen
After the selection process is complete, if you’re the successful candidate, we’ll call you to discuss the details of your employment offer to make sure you get all the information you need to make your decision. Once you’ve accepted the offer, we’ll prepare your induction pack so that your experience of joining Santen is as smooth as possible.
Total rewards
We believe in rewarding the great contributions that our people make, whatever their role and wherever they are in the business.
At Santen, we’re proud of our people. That’s why we’ve put together a competitive compensation package, including performance-orientated incentives. Our reward programmes are our way of recognising your contribution to our regional success and saying ‘thank you’.
We also offer an attractive range of benefits and encourage both a positive work-life balance and healthy lifestyle.
Your first month with us
We want to give you the best start in your career with Santen so we create an on-boarding plan for the first month for all our new starters. Our on-boarding process is intended to help accelerate your learning journey, give you a head start with building your colleague network and begin to develop the essential elements that you need to succeed.
You’ll also be assigned a buddy in your first few days at Santen who will guide you through our policies and practices, and help you settle into your new role.
